PRIVATE AUDITIONS AT BDC

At BDC, we believe every performer deserves the chance to be truly seen. Over the years, we’ve held auditions in classrooms and workshops, but we found that group settings sometimes overlook individual talent and potential. That’s why we now offer private auditions — giving every applicant the opportunity to shine as an individual and as a performer.

WHY DO I NEED A PRIVATE AUDITION?

As a small, specialist performing arts college, we value personal connection and individual attention. Our private audition process allows us to:

- Focus on your unique qualities and artistic potential

- Understand your creative process, inspirations, and goals

- See how you might grow and flourish within our training programs

This one-to-one approach ensures that your audition reflects who you are — not just as a performer, but as a creative individual.

WHAT TO PREPARE

For your audition, please prepare two contrasting performance pieces that best represent your talent and personality. We encourage you to choose material that reflects your strengths, creativity, and individuality.

OUR PROCESS

Once you’ve submitted your online audition application, you’ll be able to choose a date and time to audition.

AUDITION DATES

Private auditions are held throughout the academic year, starting in the autumn term. Applications are made online using the form below.
